Truxton Circle is full of late 19th century homes, giving it a serene feel to it. This happening neighborhood has several playground and parks, and a strong sense of community. Some of the playgrounds are where families spend time, people go for a walk with their pets, or others lounge in the sunglight reading are Truxton Park, New York Avenue Park, and Bundy Playground.
Truxton circle boundaries are as follows: New Jersey Avenue to the west, Florida Avenue to the north, New York Avenue to the South, and North Capitol Street to the East. Truxton Circle has suffered an unfortunate identiy crisis since the traffic circle after which it was named was demolished around the year 1950. It is now a neighborhood which is beginning to reclaim its identity.
