The Palisades is a long narrow neighborhood that sits along several miles of the Potomac River. These homes are very high value, and many of them were built in the late 1800′s, early 1900′s. The Palisades main thoroughfair is MacArthur Boulevard.
This particular neighborhood is a hidden gem of sorts. The Palisades is one of the lesser-known neighborhoods in Washington DC, with a nice blend of detached houses, townhouses and apartments. The homes along the bluff on Potomac Avenue offer a broad view of the Potomac River and the Virginia riverfront, with often impressive sunset views.
